I found this first industry talk extremely interesting and helpful, as I didn’t realise there were so many options in the 3D industry. She went through the areas where we can find 3D and how each group is developed. I appreciated her honesty about talking from experience in her line of work and how she had to adapt and move many times, but she doesn’t expect that from us if that is not what we desire.
She encouraged us to find our own path. We later watched some showreels to see a variety of examples of how each reel is tailored to the roles we want to apply for.
