During this class, we learned how to use Control Rigs to make procedural animations, since many people could be interested in this for their final project. During this class, I was still debating whether to rig and animate in the Engine or import the animation directly, since I’ve never rigged in Cinema 4D or Maya.

Regarding my final project, as mentioned in weeks 4/5, I worked on a visual storyboard to start organising everything. Here is the storyboard:

After working on the storyboard, I consulted Ting and Mariana regarding the modelling and animation, and after talking to them, I finally changed my mind and stuck with Maya. I will be working on a simple rig with Mariana for my characters since the movement will be minimal. Honestly, I don’t know how this will turn out, but I want to experiment and learn everything I can.
