For our first class on United Engine, we were taught about how it was assessed and how it would complement and be part of the 3D Animation Fundamentals course.
We created our accounts and ensured that we had the same ones at home. We also saw how to install Engine on our laptops. Additionally, we reviewed examples of other students’ blogs to see how they were set up and to watch some of their projects. We viewed some studio references as well as the short film ‘Brave Creatures’.
Finally, I am looking forward to future projects and experimentation with engine. Films like ‘The Matrix’ have their engine projects open for use, allowing others to see how they were made.
